estoy comiendo la papa = i am eating the potato

estoy comiendo el papa = i am eating the pope

In French only context can differentiate between “I’m eating an avocado” and “I’m eating a lawyer.” Both are “Je mange un avocat.”

Friendly reminder that potato in Spanish is “Patata” and not “papa”

“Papa” means “Pope”

And “Estoy comiendo el papa” simply doesn’t fucking exist. It’d be “Me estoy comiendo al Papa”
